Lifeform Containment Units - with Lifeforms [9 to 14 prims] - Containment domes for exomorph life forms - Pulsing plasma data displays - Dome opens and closes on touch - Sound effects, Gas particle effects - Weird aliens with tentacles, eyes & random movements - 'Magnetic plates' for precision auto alignment These Lifeform Containment Units can be used to hold lifeforms brought from various planets and locations around the galaxy and beyond by the research team. Each unit has a pair of pulsing data screens aligned at the front. It also has a toughened glass dome for safely observing the creature close-up. Each dome can be individually rolled open or closed by touching it. Or you can control it in chat by typing "open dome" or "close dome". Domes will automatically synch themselves together so all domes will open or close on chat command, if they are within 10m of you. You can secure the dome to prevent unauthorised access by saying "lock dome" in chat and then only the owner can unlock it. The unit also has sound effects on opening and closing the container. Some containers have environmental controls and will emit gas or atmospheric particle effects. These can be turned on or off by touching any side of the container. Each container has a Magno-Bolt magnetic plate on the rear. This can be used to automatically align the container with any other Magno-Bolt plate, such as those found on the walls of the Facility for the Examination and Research of Alien Lifeforms (FERAL), also available from Exosphere. However, you can deploy it anywhere and position it yourself, if you wish. Alien Lifeforms included. You get a strange alien lifeform included in each container. They're all animated and make random life-like twitches within their dome. Alien Lifeforms available for inspection and analysis include: Class D Lifeforms - [Dangerous specimen] Sana-sa-Torvis Snappers (Snappers) [9 prims] Holgorian Arachnid (Giant Spider) [14 prims] | Class D Lifeform: Holgorian Arachnid (spider) This is a mature arachnid from the Death Caves of Holgor, where giant spiders have been seen living in huge colonies. Their webs are stronger than steel wires and their venom can kill from mere skin contact. We think that this particular specimen is a female and may even be ready to hatch a new breed. As such, she is extremely aggressive and will twitch around vigorously in her web if approached. We think she may be highly intelligent, but attempts to communicate with her have shown no results - so far! Class D Lifeform: Tarna-ta-Torvis Snappers (snappers) These nasty little creatures were retrieved from the shorelines of the Torvis Seas on the water planet, Tana-ta. They feed by poking their beaks through the sands and biting anything that walks over them. Once they have a grip, they hold tight and drag their prey under. If they get too agitated, you can drench them in the waters from their home world by touching the sides of the container. It probably won't do any good. |
