Aztec Ruins - an Exosphere Holo-Deck Scene. You're lost in the vast rainforests of the Mexican jungles when you stumble across the hidden ruins of an undiscovered Aztec temple. What secrets does it hold? These Aztec Ruins and the jungle are great places for photos, poses and role-play. As with all the Exosphere Holodeck scenes, everything gets automatically cleared away when you select "clear" from the Holodeck menu. The Aztec Ruins is a blend of prims, mesh and sculpties giving a total land impact of a 78. Prepare to take your Role Play to the next level. Installing your Holodeck Scene To install your new scene, rezz the Holodeck Scene Install box next to your Holodeck controls. Then touch the Scene Installer panel on the Holodeck. The scene will install automatically for you. | The Secret Entrance. Pass through the dark, leafy entrance tunnel and emerge into the sunlight of a rainforest jungle clearing. You'll find yourself surrounded by the ruins of an old Aztec structures, full of towering stones and srrange carvings. Over to one side is a series of stone steps leading up to the top, where you'll find a huge stone disk on a plinth. Watch your trip over that pile of old skeleton bones and skulls close by. And don't step in that small pool of rippling water by the wall. Weather effects and ambient sounds: The jungle is full of sounds to bring it alive, so expect to hear exotic bird calls and rolling thunder. You'll also see animated sunbeams shining down from the foliage above you. There's also small fireflies that dance around in the beams, flickering in the light. You'll also experience the occasional drenching shower of rain. You can prevent the rain by simply saying "stop raining" at any time and you won't get any more rain until the next time the holodeck scene is used. The Sacrificial Table. Down in the foliage, you'll find the original stone table, used in secret, ancient sacrificial rites. Look for the sacrificial dagger lying on the slab. If you touch it, you'll be given a copy of the dagger that you can use with the sacrificial poses. The Poses. Hidden around the ruins, you'll find exciting poses, some of which are animated. There's a few built into the Plinth, which will allow a victim to get spread-eagled against the Stone Disk, including some submission poses for the top of the stairs. The Sacrificial Table has poses and animations where you can play the victim lying on the table. Behind the Stone Table, there's a column and if you sit on that, it'll activate the Sacrificial Priest's poses. They're the one that wields the dagger! You can use the Dagger you get from the table with these poses, too. Falling Rocks. Watch out for falling rocks, there's a few loose ones amongst the top edges of the ruins and they have a habit of crashing down close to you. The can also bounce around once they've got the ground, so keep your eyes open. You can click-and-drag them to one side, but they'll vanish on their own after a while. |
