Starbase Singularity Core External chamber is 16 prims Internal assembly is 12 prims Prepare to experience the ultimate power source for your starbase or space station. This module contains a harnessed singularity inversion core contained in an quantum antimatter chamber. It has amazing features, including random glowing and lighting effects, particle coolant, rotating core, and a set of thick mesh cables that pulse with light and color. Features include:
The Antimatter Chamber: Access is through a specially insulated iris door that opens on touch and then down along a shielded corridor that is pulsing with light. Once inside, you will be in the Antimatter chamber. You will see a bank of data screens covering the walls. The screens flash at random to call your attention to vital statistics. The floor is covered with thick conduits and cables that snake around the flooring ducts, occasionally lighting up with pulses of pure energy. Particle coolant gases oozes through vents in the floor, covering the cables in a white mist. This place oozes power. The Singularity Inversion: The actual Singularity Inversion core itself is a wonder of science. It is held suspended in a revolving energy field tunnel. The core radiates with beams and energy particles. You will see the containment field tunnel rippling with arcs of static energy that sweep across its surface as it revolves around the core. The internal computer is built into a hexagonal bench that slowly rotates horizontally. This bench also pulses with random energy patterns and colours. You can control ANY of the systems rotation - just turn it on or off by touching it. The Singularity Inversion internal assembly include the mesh cables, the pedestal control base, the rotating hexagonal panel and the singularity particle effects. There are all set on a Magno-Bolt plate, which means you can easily attach it to the anchor point in the chamber by touching the plates. Or, of course, you can just use the Antimatter chamber and install your own equipment. | Technician Work Station: At the end of the walkway is a computer screen and a keyboard. If you touch either of these, you will trigger the animated post that shows you tapping the screen and the keyboard. The pose is adjustable and remembers up to 5 different avi positions. External Features: The Antimatter Chamber is richly textured inside and outside and has that "Deep Dead Space" feel to it. There is a viewing port in the back of the Antimatter Chamber so that a visual inspection can take place from outside without the technicians having to enter the chamber. On the top of the unit is a emitter pulse relay that propagates the energy to all the other parts of your starbase. You should see it light up as it cycles through its charge and discharge phases. This unit can form the heart of your sci fi RP. It can be guarded and protected as a vital strategic defence point, and it also makes it a vulnerable place to focus your attacks on if you intend to take control of the base. The Antimatter chamber has a Magno-Bolt anchor plate set in the rear, so you can attach the internal assembly by simply touching the plates. (I keep getting asked if I have modified my pictures because they can't look that good! I never enhance the pictures I take. Apart from the cropping and the text, everything you see on the picture is what I saw on my SL viewer when I took it.) |
