Starfield Generator for a more immersive role play. Star Field Generator - 5 sizes included Surround your space station with a breath-taking view of deep space with this star field generator. One touch is all it needs and it will create a phantom celestial sphere around your base, showing a distant all-round view into the star-filled void. Touch the generator again and the star field will disappear. Five different sizes are included to allow for different sized parcels. You will recieve star fields whose celestial spheres are sized at 64m, 128m, 150m, 190m and a massive 255m sphere. Simply rez the generator for the size you want to use. Once you touch the star field generator, the miniature star field built into your generator's control unit will begin to slowly rotate to show it is active. If you touch the unit again, it will derez the star field and the rotation will stop. Your Sci-Fi Role Play will be far more immersive and your base will look good from any direction and in any lighting conditions! The generator can be mounted on a wall or positioned on the floor - in fact it will work correctly at any angle. Pro Tip: If you wish, you can alter the rotational alignment of the sphere shell so the apex is positioned at the poles. Simply select Edit and change the value of the Y-axis rotation from 0 to 270 | Rotating Star Field The star field rotates in your field of view at a very slow speed, in fact it's so slow you can hardly see it move. But the next time you look through a porthole, you may notice that some new constellations have slid silently into view, just like the real thing. It takes just under an hour for the celestial sphere to make a complete rotation. Notes: Each star field is mapped onto a phantom prim so it will allow easy passage through its walls. As a precaution, the star field generator can only be operated by the owner of the device. .Land Impact = 2 prims. |
