(We won't tell you too much about the experience as we don't want to spoil the horrors that await you.) No one knows what really happened in that house. There have always been rumors about the Mansion... the weird noises, the screams, the disappearances. But one night after reports of strange lights and sounds, the police broke in, searching for the old millionaire in his wheelchair who lived there. There was no sign of him, nor was there any trace of his nurse or his daughter, who lived with him. Even his housekeeper had vanished. The police are gone, now. They never did find the missing people, they just filed the missing persons reports. The mansion is empty, but you're still not convinced. You're certain the place still holds some terrible secrets. What happened to the occupants? And where are their bodies? And who (or what) was responsible? It's time to enter... the Horror House. (Please note: The Management takes no responsibility for soiled pants during this Exosphere Holo-deck Scene Experience) More info: For the best experience, set your viewer to midnight, switch to high graphics and turn up your sound. The servants rooms up here are very old and creepy. There's an old sofa by the wall. You can have a rest, but take a look at the mirror on the wall. Do you get the feeling your being watched? And what's that red stain seeping through the ceiling? Keep walking through the archway, then through the end room to find the next set of stairs leading up.. Second Floor: The Landing. Ascend the next set of stairs. At the top, you'll see a landing with a stair rail. A bureau is against the wall, perhaps some papers in there may hold a clue? There's two doors here. One has been nailed shut with wooden boards. That's not a good sign. The next door leads to the family's private quarters. See if you can get one of the doors open. Top Floor: The Study Something very bad has happened here. The overturned chair, the scattered papers, all show clear signs of a struggle. The cupboard in the corner may open if you pull it - is there something inside? And there's something odd about that bookcase. The double glass doors lead through to the daughter's bedroom. Maybe you should check it out. Top Floor: The Daughter's Bedroom Where is she? Her clothes are here, spread out on the large fourposter bed, but she has vanished. There's a huge Pre-Raphaelite painting hanging on the wall, but you feel uneasy when you look at it... Why? And what's that strange shape you can see under the bed? Eventually, you'll find the secret way into...the Lair of the Psychopath The Cellar: The Lair of the Psychopath: When you finally discover the route into the hidden passageways behind the walls, everything begins to make sense. You find the two-way mirrors and spy-holes that the psycho must have used to watch his victims in their private rooms. Is he still around? Walk carefully down the double staircase until you arrive at the basement cellar... And prepare yourself as you discover what really happened to his victims. The Psycho's Den: This is where the psycho plots his murders. Notice the newspaper cuttings on the wall, the sideboard with the bottles of poisons... and that skeleton, picked clean. Yuk! The Chainsaw Room: It looks like the Doctor won't be needing his wheelchair any more. There's a stained mattress here, and a trolley for moving bodies around. His clothes are in a heap by the side. Try not to slip on the blood on the floor. The Bathroom: Now you know what happened to the Nurse. And watch out for the big waste pipe sticking out the wall that drops bits of bodies onto the bowl on the table - it sometimes overflows! The Furnace Room. There's a furnace at the end of this room. You should be able to get the furnace door open, but what's that you can see burning in the flames? And there's some unpleasant tools lined up in trays on the table. Is that the daughter, hanging upside down over the table? Did she just mumble something? Another clue? There's one more secret room to discover. And the mad psycho killer is still in here, somewhere. He'll take you by surprise - you'll have to find him and make sure he won't be killing anyone else ever again. No more clues now. (But contact me if you get stuck). Good luck. |
