Apocalypse - an Exosphere Holo-Deck Scene This is an Exosphere Holo-Deck Scene and requires it to be installed in the Exosphere Holo-Deck. Apocalypse - experience life in a post-nuclear underground bunker They finally went and did it! Someone pressed the button. The good news is you made it to the underground nuclear fallout shelter facility before the missiles started to land. But now, many years later, infections have set in, bodies are stacking up and the bunker is running out of food and water. Someone is going to have to take that elevator ride up to the desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland on the surface. Thanks for volunteering. We think there might be mutant strains up there, so watch out. Excellent role-play opportunities. Features include:
The pictures have all been taken from inside this scene and have NOT been retouched in any way, other than to crop them. What you see is what you'll get. There's plenty of custom textures and graphics just waiting for your Role Play. Set your viewer to midnight for the best experience. Installing your Holo-Deck Scene To install your new scene, rezz the Scene Install box next to your Holo-Deck controls. Then touch the Scene Installer panel on the Holo-deck. The scene will be installed automatically. Once installed, it'll appear on your holodeck menu. | Here's some hints from the Survivors Guide. The Bunker - Living Space: Enter through the nuclear blast door. Touch it to activate it and listen as the siren sounds,. You'll see the living area ahead. Ignore the warning on the door about dead bodies, it's too late for them, anyway. There's a couple of beaten-up sofas you can sit on & a TV with an animated screen tuned to the emergency station. In the corner, next to the lockers are two bunk beds, with a set of poses for both upper and lower bunks. There's also an air pump of some kind, emitting sparks The Bunker - Rear Storage: Touch the metal door to open it & pass through to the rear of the bunker. There's metal shelving with ration crates. And there's a heat exchanger, but touching it only produces fumes There's also the shower & toilet. To use the toilet, just sit on it & touch the pipes when you're done to activate the flush (if you're lucky). The Bunker - Shower: You can use the emergency decontamination shower if you think you've been exposed to radiation. There must be some leakage pollution because the water has a lot of sludge in it. Sit on the base to get the male/female shower animations, then touch the taps for water on/off. Elevator to the Surface: Time to pay a visit to the outside world and see who (or what) is still alive. Touch the floor pad of the elevator to activate it & the elevator will transport you up to the surface. When you've finished exploring, you can return in the same way. Be careful up there because if someone down in the bunker calls for the elevator, you'll find yourself stranded on the surface. The Surface Wastelands: Nuclear war hasn't worked out too well for humanity. The devastated landscape includes shattered skyscrapers, broken buildings, smoldering burnt-out cars and mutant spiders, as big as dogs. You'll catch glimpses of them creeping around among the ruins. Some survivors have made a fire up here, & that will attract the spiders, so keep a sharp lookout. |
